Cinephilia

Cinephilia — a special interest in cinema. Some consider it a disease that detaches one from reality. If that's the case, then the aspiring director Marat is afflicted. But before making his own film, he manages to win a football championship, work as a drug dealer, become a neophyte of a Sufi order, organize a jazz festival, and even participate in underground rap confrontations. Marat loses friends, makes mistakes, matures, finds himself. One thing remains unchanged — his manic passion for the art of cinema.
