Economic and Philosophical Manuscripts of 1844

The Economic and Philosophical Manuscripts of 1844 are one of the earliest and at the same time one of the most cited works of Karl Marx, in which he first attempted to summarize and systematize the results of his economic research from a philosophical perspective. There is an opinion that Marx did not leave a philosophical system and his main legacy is the monumental Capital, however, in reality, all the main philosophical postulates were formulated by the 25-year-old Marx in this small but very rich work covering the main problems and contradictions of social and economic inequality. Everything Marx said in the Economic and Philosophical Manuscripts of 1844 – think about it! 178 years ago! – remains relevant to this day and especially today, more than ever before, the philosophical understanding of the driving forces of history, the essence and historical nature of private property and alienated labor comes to the fore.
