The book  is part of the Complex  new edition "Let's Go! Beginner Course", which includes textbooks 1.1 and 1.2, workbooks 1.1 and 1.2 with keys to the course.
The Complex is intended... for beginners studying the Russian language and consists of two parts (1.1 and 1.2). It is designed for an average of 80–120 hours of classroom work. Each part includes a textbook, a workbook with keys to the part, an audio application  (QR).
The goal of the course is to ensure the rapid output of language material into speech based on interconnected training in all types of speech activity. A video course with methodological recommendations for the teacher is posted on the author's website. For continuing the course, the textbook “Let's Go! Basic Course” is recommended.
