The proposed manual is intended for students of the second grade of general education schools. Each of the stories included in the manual is equipped with a series of exercises that help to comprehend the meaning of the read text,... master new vocabulary, and prepare for summarizing the content. Performing these exercises gives second graders the opportunity to delve deeper into the meaning of what they have read, acquire new vocabulary, and prepare to present the content in English. At the end of the manual, there is a dictionary of new words and answers. The manual helps to enrich vocabulary, introduces grammar, improves spelling, and immerses students in the world of the English language.
