The compiler's idea is to "let Marx speak for himself" and give any reader the opportunity to understand the essence of the dialectical-materialist approach. The work "The Origin of the Family, Private Property and the State" by Friedrich Engels (1884) is devoted to the evolution of family and marriage, the origin and essence of statehood. The book also includes the "Communist Manifesto" (1848), written by scholars on behalf of the society "League of the Just". This document marked the beginning of the formation of the international communist movement. All these works were mandatory for study in universities in the USSR and influenced the worldview of Soviet citizens for many years.
