Rudolf Erich Raspe – a German writer, born in the city of Hanover. Throughout his life, he had to try out various professions – librarian, archaeologist, geologist, and translator. But he gained worldwide fame thanks to his book about Baron Munchausen – a famous fabricator, whose adventures are known today by almost everyone. The publication includes the stories of the jovial Baron Munchausen about his fantastical adventures that he experienced. He will recount all sorts of tricks that may come in handy during travels, teach how to find a way out even from the most seemingly hopeless situations, and always remain a cheerful and good-natured person. The texts are adapted for levels A1-A2 for beginners learning German and are accompanied by comments. After the stories, exercises with keys are provided. At the end of the book – a dictionary of the vocabulary used, making reading easier.
