Introduction to the New Testament

The New Testament — a narrative of how God became man — is the foundation of the Christian faith. The author provides a general overview of the development of New Testament history, constructing and assembling the main evangelical events into a unified whole. From the book, readers will learn what lies behind the well-known but little-understood phrases: the Last Judgment, the Kingdom of Heaven, eternal life. Most importantly — they will read about the people who witnessed Christ firsthand, whose experiences are detailed in the New Testament books. By understanding what these people felt and believed, what they feared and what they hoped for, readers will be able to find their own place in the evangelical story. Then, the New Testament events will take on a deeper meaning for them, and the words of Jesus Christ will become closer and clearer.
