Iliad

Iliad. A poem written millennia ago. A poem that will be read and re-read as long as humanity exists, for it speaks of events and feelings that will never lose their relevance. The cynical, conquering war of the people who came with fire and sword to a foreign land, – and the sacred war of those who defend their home and loved ones from invaders. The love of a woman who perfectly understands that she has given her heart to a worthless coward. The fierce, hopeless, and bitter passion of a warrior who has lost the most precious thing in life and lives only for revenge for his loss. Vice and virtue, greed and nobility, cunning and foolishness – it seems that the Iliad has absorbed the entire diversity of human natures and characters.
