Oscar Wilde (1854-1900) - a British playwright, writer, and poet. He wore a top hat from the age of 12 and knew how to charm any conversation partner. Contemporaries recalled that his conversations were as full of witty aphorisms as... his plays. The transcripts of these conversations would rival the dramatic works or fairy tales of Oscar Wilde. He himself said that for him writing plays was no more difficult than conversing. Wilde spent two weeks on each of his most famous comedies.
