The main symptoms of ADD are considered to be distractibility, impulsiveness, and hyperactivity. The brain of a person with ADD resembles a traffic intersection without a traffic controller. In adults, often unaware of their diagnosis, this manifests as an acute need to throw any tasks at the perpetually tumultuous mind, just to avoid being alone with it; in bursts of enthusiasm that leave emotional ruins; in workaholism and constant disorder in the home, on the desk, and in the mind.
But the situation is not fatal. Maté will offer parents a long-term program for raising a child with ADD.
For adults, he will help them independently break free from the shackles of past emotional experiences and gain a deeper understanding of themselves.
