A very wealthy girl meets the fiancé of her best friend. A few months after they meet, she marries him, while her friend is left with nothing. The married couple goes to Egypt for their honeymoon, but there they encounter... the abandoned bride who is pursuing them. And so, on the luxurious steamboat "Karnak," a young millionaire who had recently married is killed, and, as Hercule Poirot discovers during the investigation, she had many enemies among the passengers. Anyone could have killed the self-confident girl who stole her friend’s fiancé. The intriguing plot keeps the tension until the very end. Three passengers are traveling armed.
