The Possessed

In a provincial town at the end of summer, the mysterious and alluring Nikolai Stavrogin suddenly appears with his fidgety companion Pyotr Verkhovensky, and soon his supposed wife, the Hunchback. Hearts are broken, plans are disrupted, chaos and turmoil abound. And while the elite society scandalizes among themselves, somewhere beyond their little world, a secret society of nihilists is devising their bloody and soulless plan.
