Screenwriter Ilya Samburov is experiencing a creative crisis. The plot for his new thriller is turning out flat and uninteresting… So he heads to St. Petersburg. This city of mysteries... offers him the idea of searching for Dracula's mirror and visiting the ancient mansion of the Brusnitsyn merchants. According to legend, it was in this house that a mirror was kept, looking into which people would disappear without a trace.
At this time, a maniac is on the loose in the city, killing girls. He is so cruel that it seems Dracula himself has grown bored and come from his mirror realm to remind everyone of himself.
Ilya thoughtlessly plunges into an independent investigation, putting himself and his companion Anna in danger, who becomes a witness to one of the murders.
