Short Stories

The book is a collection of short stories by the famous American science fiction writer Ray Bradbury. Bradbury's short stories are recognized masterpieces of modern literature. While not undermining the significance of his major works, it is worth acknowledging that it is in this form of literary creativity that the writer achieved the pinnacle of mastery. Their style is a swift, emotional sketch, extraordinarily vivid and original, with unusual memorable plots and subtle psychology in revealing the characters' images.
The texts of the stories are adapted for educational purposes to the Pre-Intermediate level and are accompanied by commentary, as well as tasks for practicing and reinforcing skills in grammatical and lexical material. At the end of the manual, there is an English-Russian dictionary.

The book is aimed at students of 7-8 grades of schools, lyceums, gymnasiums, and anyone studying the English language.
