The book is a collection of short stories by the famous American science fiction writer Ray Bradbury. Bradbury's short stories are recognized masterpieces of modern literature. Their style is a swift, emotional sketch, extraordinarily vivid and original, with unusual memorable plots and subtle psychology in revealing the characters' images.
The texts of the stories are adapted for educational purposes to the Pre-Intermediate level and are accompanied by commentary, as well as tasks for practicing and reinforcing skills in grammatical and lexical material. At the end of the manual, there is an English-Russian dictionary.
