Bridge to Heaven

In this documentary novel, Jeanine Cummins, the author of the global bestseller "American Dirt," recounts the events of an April night in 1991 in St. Louis, when her two sisters and brother were violently attacked by four thugs while walking across a bridge over the Mississippi.
