Rise in crime. Sherlock Holmes never has free time — murders, thefts, cunning machinations, and clever scams occur at every turn, and all these cases are waiting for someone who can solve them. You have already investigated the death of... an archaeologist, given the hero a last chance, and revealed the identity of the murdered person on Independence Day. The authors of the detective quest series Elementary have something new to delight you with!
Paperwork. You can explore any story either on your own or in a large company, as the rules allow you to simply enjoy a puzzle in your spare time or uncover a criminal in a cooperative format. In any case, you will encounter many pieces of evidence, testimonies, notes, and hints — some of which will help piece together the events, while others are irrelevant to the case.
Data selection. The main thing is to understand which information can be disregarded and to remember to send unnecessary cards to the discard pile, so as not to incur penalties at the end of the game while still being able to answer the required questions. When all useful information is laid out on the table, players mentally reconstruct the situation step by step, trying to identify the guilty parties, and then reveal the cards with the red border. Having learned how things really were, they tally their victory points.
And along the road… A cemetery. Gray tombstones, grim carved fences, desolation, and gloom. Even during the day, it feels uncomfortable here, now — especially so.
