The vicissitudes of war are unpredictable. From small coincidences that complement one another, a major trouble can grow. And then everything that one had already gotten used to is suddenly and roughly swept away. Here in Vladivostok, for the past almost six months, people had firmly believed in the impossibility of a full-scale invasion into the surrounding waters, only to find themselves cruelly disappointed. The consequent actions of both sides led to the unwanted Rojestvensky’s next general battle, where luck, which, as is known, favors the prepared, was again on the side of the Russians. However, the enemy showed themselves from a new, unexpected side.
