Early 1977. The confrontation between superpowers is intensifying.
James Werner, a military veteran, was found murdered on the outskirts of the European city of Vienna. Fragments of a map were discovered at the crime scene, marked with coordinates of arms caches... located in the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany and Italy. Agents are informed that a special operation "White Bee" has begun. Your mission is to find out who eliminated Werner and for what purpose the caches were created. Exercise the utmost caution; it is likely that foreign intelligence services have been involved here.
"Vienna Connection" is a cooperative tabletop game that combines espionage games, encrypted missions, and detective investigations. The action of the game unfolds in Europe during the 1970s. You are spies, undercover agents whose goal is to successfully complete assigned missions. During their execution, you will travel from one European city to another, searching for informants and gathering intelligence. At the start of the game, a deck of cards and a certain number of clues are available to you, which you will use to obtain new information. However, this is not as simple as it may seem: you will have to study more than one pile of archival documents, ranging from ordinary newspaper clippings to secret files and protocols. Teamwork is the main skill you will need to learn. Every minute, the game will present you with challenging tasks, the solutions to which will depend on your level of cohesion. The codes and ciphers encountered along the way immerse you fully in an atmosphere of secrecy and espionage.
Now, agents, you know everything. The success of the operation and the outcome of the Cold War depend solely on you. Will you be able to counter the enemy's plans?
