The Art of War

Sun Tzu lived in the 5th century BC. His real name, Sun Wu, means "Master Sun".

The Chinese tradition considers him the author of the very first work that gave rise to the literary genre "Bing Fa", "The Art of War". At the same time, it is the very first treatise in the history of humanity dedicated to war and military art. "War is struggle. In the nearest sense, war is the struggle of armies." Zhang Yu But this is only in a narrow, purely military sense. The struggle in war is not different in its nature from struggle in general: it is the same kind of struggle as any other, conducted not by military means. Sun Tzu places it on par with diplomatic struggle and political struggle.

It is not surprising that in our time the ancient "The Art of War" attracts not so much rulers and their generals, but rather businessmen who successfully use the principles of "The Art of War" for management and conflict resolution tasks.
