The story of a youth commune in the Moscow Region at the very beginning of the nineties. The heroes, almost teenagers, escape from the cruelty of the surrounding world, hiding behind the walls of a lonely cottage standing in the... forest. In their little world, they try to create an ideal society based on friendship, mutual aid, and unlimited trust. The heroes bravely experiment, in search of true love, inventing their own moral laws and challenging the decayed hypocritical morality. The friends believe they will succeed. They collectively organize their household, manage the economy, equally distribute responsibilities, care for the children that appear, and are always ready to help each other. But how long can such a commune last? Are the bonds that tie the heroes so strong? Will it all not fall apart at the first gust of wind like a house of cards?
