Судебно-медицинская экспертиза в делах, связанных с оказанием медицинской помощи

The purpose of this practical manual is to develop professional understanding among specialists in the field of medicine and medical law regarding the role and principles of organizing forensic medical examination work when so-called "doctor's cases" arise, that is, disputes concerning issues of poor medical care and causing harm to health that require resolution in court.
The book reflects the specifics of the work of forensic medical examination in reviewing cases related to the provision of medical care, its regulatory legal support. The criteria based on which the issue of treatment quality is determined and the degree of harm to health resulting from improper actions by medical personnel are discussed. Established requirements for filling out medical documentation as the main object of expert analysis are outlined. Standard questions from judicial authorities when appointing forensic medical examinations in "doctor's cases" are presented.
This practical manual was developed and prepared at the FSBEI HE "Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry named after A.I. Evdokimov" of the Ministry of Health of Russia in collaboration with employees of the JSC "National Institute of Independent Medical Expertise NIME".
