This is a card game based on combinations and predictions. Each card has its own role, and the rulers have unique abilities that change the course of the game. You assemble your own squad of characters, adapting it to the chosen tactic, and decide when to attack and when to allow your opponent to win a round for future gain.
The game supports different formats – duel, team confrontation, and "one against all" mode, which makes each game feel different and fresh!
How to play?
The game is played in three rounds, each unfolding like a small party of court intrigues!
At the beginning of each round, each player is dealt 5 playing cards – exactly the number of tricks to be played. Then comes the time to assemble your squad: you choose one set of rulers – a king, a queen, and a jack of the same color – and three characters that will accompany you in this round. In the second and third rounds, the rules become stricter – you cannot reuse the same characters as before and have to look for new combinations.
When the squads are ready, all players simultaneously make a bet. For this, one character card is chosen, and in the third round – sometimes two at once – and placed face down. The bet is your prediction: how many tricks you expect to win in this round. A successful prediction will earn points, while a mistake can be costly.
After this, the most tense part of the game begins. Players take turns playing one card from their hand, following the rule of color dependency. Each trick ends with a capture, which is taken by the player with the strongest card. That player becomes the first player of the next trick, gaining an important advantage. When all five tricks are played, players count their victory points – for successful bets, number of victories, character properties, and cards won in tricks.
Then the next round begins – with new squads, fresh decisions, and even more subtle gameplay!
Who won?
After the third round ends, all players sum up their victory points. The winner is the one who proved to be the most foresighted and gained the most points. If multiple players finish with the same result, the victory goes to the player whose king has the lower number – even in a royal game, seniority sometimes matters!
