English from Scratch

The self-tutor uses a special methodology for beginners learning English from scratch. The material is presented from simple to complex, from the verb to be to the conditional mood. Grammatical topics alternate with lexical ones, developing speaking skills. Gradually, the ability to ask questions and answer them, to talk about oneself and familiar people, to discuss a book read, a movie or play seen, to describe the surrounding world, to communicate with a doctor or the police, etc., is formed. Each lesson includes exercises accompanied by keys for self-checking. By mastering the proposed vocabulary in the specified volume, studying grammatical information, and diligently completing exercises, one can confidently master the English language within the B1 level.
