War Does Not Have a Woman's Face

One of the most famous books about war in the world, which initiated the renowned artistic-documentary cycle "Voices from Utopia" by Svetlana Alexievich. Translated into more than twenty languages, included in school and university programs in many countries. The latest authorial edition: the writer, in accordance with her creative method, continually revises the book, removing censorship edits, inserting new episodes, supplementing recorded women's confessions with pages from her own diary, which she kept during seven years of working on the book.

"War Does Not Have a Woman's Face" is an experience of unique penetration into the spiritual world of a woman surviving under the inhuman conditions of war.
