Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?

After the nuclear war, Earth turned into a desert covered with radioactive dust.

Animals are becoming extinct, people are emigrating to off-world colonies. The remaining ones lead a miserable existence in crumbling cities.

Police officer Rick Deckard is assigned to find and eliminate a group of androids that escaped from the outer colony to Earth.

But gradually, Rick begins to wonder: are androids really so different from humans?

And where is the boundary that separates them? 

The novel was nominated for the Nebula Award and was adapted by Ridley Scott in 1982.
