The outstanding actor Oleg Dahl was born on May 25, 1941. While still a student, he began acting in films, and later performed at the "Contemporary" theater. Oleg's first role was in Alexander Zarkhi's film "My Younger Brother" based on the novella by Vasily Aksenov "Star Ticket". Oleg Dahl "was withdrawn, nervous, and impatient, devastatingly witty, and sometimes unbearable" — said Anatoly Efros. He had his own perspective on things and his own understanding of the creative process — he could suddenly leave the theater and abandon a production just days before the premiere. These qualities made him an "inconvenient" actor in the eyes of officials. It became one of the best in Dahl's filmography. When Dahl died, and only one Moscow newspaper, "Evening Moscow", briefly reported his departure, a huge crowd gathered in the square in front of the Small Theater.
