Vikings

Vikings are very complex — they are not only robbers and pirates but also talented businessmen and shipbuilders, excellent craftsmen and jewelers, writers, storytellers and artists, travelers and simply adventurers to the bone. It is impossible to tell everything about them in one book — something will inevitably be left out. It is unlikely that a modern person can fully accept the life of ancient Scandinavians, but they can try to understand how their ideas differ from those of a person from another time; it is in this case that a dialogue between epochs and cultures can take place.
