The merchant continues his journey with the Wise Wolf Holo. Having made good money in the city of Passio, Lawrence sells first-class pepper, buys armor, and initiates a very profitable deal in the northern church town of Rubinhaigen, the gateway to the lands of the pagans. But he falls into a trap, and even Holo, who calls herself the Wise Wolf, cannot immediately figure out how to get out of trouble.
Fortune has turned away from Lawrence, the time of reckoning is approaching, and this does not bode well for him. He may even have to give up the merchant trade.
