French Nanny

Paris, 1830s. Nine-year-old Sophie lives in poverty with her seriously ill mother. They barely make ends meet by sewing linen to order. One day, to help her mother, Sophie decides to deliver the sewn shirts to a wealthy area of Paris. This is how she ends up in the house of the famous ballerina Céline Varance. Becoming a pupil of the ballerina, Sophie meets her entourage: an old aristocrat and revolutionary Citizen Marquis and a slave boy Toussaint, brought from the colonies. Moreover, Sophie becomes the nanny and guardian angel of Céline's little daughter, the heroine of the adventures that we will follow with bated breath.
