Similarity

“Similarity” — one of the best detective novels from the famous series by Tana French about the work of the Dublin murder squad. One day, in a secluded half-ruined cottage, the body of a young woman is found, who lived next door in the estate “Hawthorn”.

At the crime scene, they call Cassie Maddox, a former detective from the murder squad. Cassie is puzzled; she has long left Homicide and now works in the domestic violence department. But, upon arriving at the scene, she realizes what is happening: the victim is her exact double,
the same face, figure, hair. How is this possible? And is it even possible?.. However, Cassie’s former boss, the legendary agent Frank Mackey, isn’t concerned with such mysteries; for him, the detective's resemblance to the victim is a great opportunity to insert his person
