Lyubavins

The work of Vasily Shukshin (1929–1974) is an outstanding phenomenon of the 1960s and 1970s. The talent of this individual manifested itself in acting, directing, and screenwriting, but it was the literary works that brought Shukshin nationwide fame. The novellas and stories of the writer have been translated into more than twenty languages and are rightfully considered a treasure of Russian literature of the 20th century.

This edition includes the first and second books of the novel "Lyubavins," which tells the story of a peasant family's life, as well as the fate of the main characters' children twenty years after the events described.
