Hiketeia – an ancient Greek ritual connecting a master and a servant through relationships of mutual respect and service.
Princess Diana of Themyscira, known to the wider world as the magnificent Wonder Woman, is forced to shelter Daniella Welles – a good girl with a bad past. Wonder Woman is obligated to protect and guide her petitioner, as hiketeia is an agreement that cannot be broken without risking the wrath of the gods.
