Before applying the contours directly to the surface, it is necessary to degrease it with an alcohol solution. It will take about 12 hours for the contours to dry completely, but if they were applied densely and voluminously, it is advisable to be patient and wait about a day. After complete drying, the decorated items can even be washed in warm water, but one should not exert too much mechanical pressure.
