Board Game - Star of Africa

Star of Africa is a time-tested board game with complicated rules. The game was first released in Finland in 1951, published in our country and became a favorite game for many modern adults. Star of Africa is the name of... the largest diamond in the world, which was found in 1905 in Transvaal, in southern Africa. During the game, players move across Africa in search of the diamond. The objective of the game is to mine the diamond and deliver it to Tangier or Cairo. Before the game begins, tokens (including the diamond token) are laid face down on the board. Players take turns moving their pieces on the game board according to the number rolled on the die (the direction of movement is chosen freely). By flipping over tokens, players try to find the diamond. Along the way, open tokens may reveal precious stones, for which the player receives money that can be used, for example, to speed up movement, or a robber who will take all the player's money or even capture them. The player who finds the Star of Africa diamond must try to deliver it to Tangier or Cairo. But for the other players, the game does not end there; they can become robbers and try to catch up with the lucky one and take the diamond from them. The player who delivers the diamond to Tangier or Cairo wins. The Star of Africa game is a great family game. Adults find it just as engaging as children, and for many, it will also be an opportunity to return to childhood for a few minutes.
