Professor Langdon St. Ives, a brilliant yet slightly eccentric scholar and inventor, enjoys family life in a luxurious estate: playing with his son and daughter, going fishing with his wife, planning to fly in his personal airship, and dreaming of having an elephant. But his arch-enemy, Dr. Ignacio Narbondo, is up to no good. He has already devised a new villainous scheme. And if the necromancer- vivisectionist manages to pull it off, the streets of devastated London will be filled with the spirits of the deceased! For now, Narbondo engages in grave robbing, sets off explosions, and also kidnaps St. Ives' little son, Eddie. And the professor sets off in pursuit…
