The Big Secrets of a Small Hotel

Secret agent Roman Deventer arrived at the San Juan Islands on an FBI assignment. A signal was received that big deals were being done in a small provincial hotel: someone was pulling off scams with counterfeit money and helping foreigners hiding from the law cross the border. Roman got a job at the hotel as a carpenter and was able to unobtrusively observe the affairs of the owner, Charity Ford. However, this girl clearly did not resemble a criminal capable of organizing such machinations. Charity was only thinking about work! Moreover, she was so charming...
