The First Book for Reading After the Primer

"The First Book for Reading After the Primer" contains three types of texts, different in content, style, and font, united by a common theme: "Native Nature in Fables, Stories, Poetry, and Life".
I. Fables and Stories - essentially a continuation of the primer texts in a somewhat more complex version.
II. The texts under the rubric "For Young Naturalists" contain concise encyclopedic information about the "heroes" acting in a particular story or fable (animals, birds, trees, etc.).
III. Under the rubric "For Young Lyricists," excerpts from poems by remarkable Russian poets (unfortunately, forgotten today) are provided, the content of which is associatively linked with the "heroes" of the fables and stories or with the conditions in which the "heroes" acted (time of year, day, weather, etc.).
