An amazing tale about a robot named Roz, who ended up on an uninhabited island. The story begins with a shipwreck. Gradually she understands the importance of befriending the local inhabitants, the numerous and diverse animals. But how can she do that if they are afraid of her?

In the end, Roz managed to learn the language of the animals, find a family and friends, and understand the meaning and purpose of her existence. Moreover... she became the best mom to a little caterpillar named Brightbeak.
