The Prince on the Black Pegasus

«The Prince on the Black Pegasus» — a romantic fantasy about a white witch who dreamed of disappearing from the crown's sight and arranging a quiet life in a remote town, but instead received a house with oddities, an intrusive grimoire, and too much attention to her person. Solitude quickly turns into a trial: Scarecrowville seems quiet only at first glance, while the magical household here constantly malfunctions. The heroine wants to read books, discuss romance novels in her own book club, and not get involved in other people's affairs, but the world around stubbornly ruins this plan. Charlotte White escapes from royal service to the half-forgotten Scarecrowville and settles in a house on the bright side of the city, hoping to finally live quietly and unnoticed. The plan breaks down in several directions: the white grimoire demands the impossible, and the arrival of two bachelors turns provincial life into a series of rumors, awkward encounters, and new problems. Against the backdrop of urban woes, magical troubles, and the invasion of chaos into her personal space, she has to choose between freedom, feelings, and the right to decide how to live herself.
