The Magic of Murder

Nika and Valdis are trying to unravel the chain of murders that, at first glance, resemble each other and seem to be governed by a single dark design. The victims are people with questionable reputations: a gigolo, gangsters, an alcoholic. Each crime has recurring details, and it is these that lead the investigation to the thought of revenge, but there is still no clear answer. While the detectives search for a motive and gather evidence, the criminal is always one step ahead. The situation becomes even more dangerous when criminal authorities intervene and begin to dictate their terms to law enforcement.
