Swineherd. Book 1. Welcome to the Nightmare

«Swineherd» by Kim Carnby — one of the brightest works of the master of psychological thrillers, known for the cult manhwas «Dear Home», «Bastard» and «Boy with a Gun». In «Swineherd», everything is combined: a tense atmosphere, morally ambiguous characters, and a plot where one cannot trust even their own feelings.

At the center of the story is a young man who wakes up on the shore of a secluded island and remembers neither his name nor how he ended up there. The only hope for help is a mysterious guesthouse where a strange family lives. The hosts greet the hero with unexpected hospitality and even allow him to stay for free, but it soon becomes clear: behind the friendly smiles lies something sinister. In an attempt to regain his lost memories, the hero gradually plunges into a labyrinth of lies — and with each revealed secret, the questions only multiply.

The first book of the manhwa «Swineherd. Welcome to the Nightmare» keeps the tension until the last page: unexpected plot twists constantly make one doubt what is happening, and the atmosphere of growing threat does not let go until the very end.

This is a story about how the thin line between reality and madness can crumble with one wrong step, and the truth — can turn out to be scarier than any nightmare.
