English Through Reading. New Version

The main goal of the manual is to develop free speaking skills. This task is implemented using the material of twelve short original stories, accompanied by extensive dictionaries. The vocabulary units studied are reinforced through numerous lexical and communicative exercises presented in the form of a workbook. The reference material accompanying the exercises ensures the effectiveness and convenience of the work. Each lesson concludes with an important step in training speech in a foreign language - free translation of a short story from Russian to English.

The textbook is equipped with material for additional reading and translation, appendices necessary for working with connected text, and answer keys needed for self-checking and independent work.
