Lesson of Seduction

A chance encounter in a train station buffet turns into a loss of money and watches for Pelmen after being treated to wine. Similar incidents soon involve a war correspondent and the chief accountant of a local factory: the stranger skillfully chooses her victims, and the consequences of her meetings become increasingly serious. Police Captain Sorokin links these cases and begins the search for the dangerous guide. His investigation leads him through a world of deception, calculation, and criminal connections, where a facade of politeness may hide a trap.
