Pretend to Be Mine

Pavel Levitsky asks Masha Myshkina to play his fake fiancée in front of his father and colleagues. For her, this is not a business formality, but a heavy test: a person she has long had feelings for is nearby, but in this relationship, she does not set the rules. The heroine has to participate in a well-structured game, endure the gaze of others, and not reveal that for her, everything is too serious. The intrigue hinges on this confrontation: pretense requires closeness, and each new step makes the boundary between agreement and real feeling less reliable.
