Rain in Tokyo

The heroine settles in a Japanese family, goes to a new school, and tries to adapt to an unfamiliar environment that is both fascinating and confusing. A classmate, Kentaro, is nearby: thanks to him, the city stops being just an exotic backdrop and gains a lively rhythm, everyday routes, and vulnerability hidden behind external gloss. While a feeling arises between the teenagers, she has to relearn how to accept support, experience loss, and find her place in a new life. The tension is heightened by a strong earthquake that confronts personal experiences with a test of endurance and hope.
