Island of Time

At the center of the collection are different heroines and different circumstances, but each story begins with a situation from which one cannot simply exit by closing the door. One woman, cornered by a family conflict, prepares for revenge. A journalist, who has taken on the defense of victims of violence, faces not only someone else's misfortune but also a direct threat to herself. An employee of a charitable foundation is handling a case of child abuse and step by step gathers evidence. The tension here is built not on abstract intrigue, but on actions, risks, pressure, and the price one has to pay for trying to achieve the truth.
