Chaga

Gabi MacAslan, an Irish television journalist, arrives in Nairobi to work on the front lines of a global crisis. She is interested not only in Chaga itself but also in the people around her: scientists, officials, military personnel, residents of the quarantine zone, and those trying to survive alongside the new reality. As she works on her reports, she delves deeper into a territory where familiar explanations no longer apply, and the official version of events begins to crack. In search of answers, she has to grapple not only with the alien environment but also with how power manages fear, information, and the future of an entire region.
