The Land of Bone Gods. The Calling Roots

Arseniy receives an order to shoot a documentary film about a Mari shrine — a place of mass sacrifice fifteen years ago, after which his mother went insane. Together with his team, he sets off on a journey. On the bus, they meet Olya: she is searching for her missing grandfather, who was thought to be a sect member. The driver begins to tell eerie legends, but no one believes him. Everything changes when, in the middle of the forest, he drops the girl off and disappears without a trace, leaving the young people alone.

The stolen bone idol becomes a curse — it can no longer be released from their hands. The Mari roots pull the heroes deeper into madness and ancient legends, frightening with bloody rituals and the blind faith of the locals in them.

To survive, the heroes need to unravel the mystery of past events, find Olya's grandfather, and escape from the village that is not on the map — before the land of bone gods consumes them forever.
