Before you is the second book of the trilogy about the legendary Kyiv prince Svyatoslav Igorevich. The trilogy is a detailed biography of the prince and a broad panorama of events in the 10th century — a turning point era on the eve of the baptism of Rus, when the state was engaged in a tense struggle for a place among the strongest powers of the early Middle Ages.
