The Pilot from Spilve

Gathered for the reading of the will of Israeli millionaire Michael Golber, his children and grandchildren learn of a strange condition: before lawyer Rubin can announce the last wishes of the deceased, they must listen to the entire recordings from the diary of some Mikus translated from Latvian to Hebrew. That is, they, busy people, are asked to spend a lot of time to find out what some kid from distant Latvia, whom they have never heard of before, wrote about! Why?!

But this is not the only surprise: a stranger from Russia appears at the reading of the will. And an ancient box appears on the table, emanating mysteries...

…The heirs, along with the readers, learn a lot of new things: about how Latvian pilots conquered the skies in the 1930s, about the dramatic events that unfolded in Europe and the Middle East on the eve of World War II.

But above all, this is a story about great Friendship and Love, which turned out to be stronger than hatred, danger, time, and distances.
